Product Description

This Casio moon phase hunting watch is the perfect outdoorsman timepiece, with a stylish design well suited for woods, lake or city wear. In addition to the automatic time, day, month and date displays, this convenient digital watch also indicates the best times to hunt based on the moon's phase, latitude and longitude. The watch displays the moon's age, phase and time, as well as sunrise and sunset information, for the current or designated day. A handy vibration alert can be used with the daily alarm, hourly time signal, or hunting timer so as not to disturb the quiet. The watch also offers a time memo, a 1/100 second stopwatch, and five daily alarm settings. An automatic electro-luminescent backlight with afterglow makes the display easy to read at any time, and the water-ready nylon band comes with a buckle clasp. The case is made from a durable polyurethane resin, and the watch is water resistant up to 330 feet (100 meters). This watch offers a battery life of approximately five years.

Excellent low-cost watch

Review by Jan Zitnansky, 2010-06-03

The watch cost me only $31 including shipping and it offers quite some bang for the buck. Vibration alert, moon & sun data are the features I like the most. I am not a hunter, nor a fisherman but an amateur astronomer, so I purchased the watch due to these very features. The only thing I miss is the sunrise/sunset data would also differentiate between civil, nautical and astronomical sunrise/sunset.

Rugged and reliable

Review by D. Webster, 2010-05-18

I bought one of these watches about eight years ago, and I still have it. I replaced the battery two years ago, although it was still functioning perfectly. I'm getting ready to buy another one of these because the band is virtually impossible to replace on the early models, and I've just about exhausted the limits of "doctoring" the band on it. I'll probably keep the new watch as a back-up until the band on my old watch no longer works. The watch is like an old friend. Best all-around watch I've ever owned. I have six other watches and rarely wear any of them.

great watch at a great price

Review by thundercloud, 2010-05-17

I have owned mine for several months now and it keeps great time. I have owned digital watches in the past that actually lost a few minutes of time during long use but this one has not.

The instructions could be a bit daunting for some folks but I figured them out with very few problems.

The thing I like most about this watch is that the time is large enough to see without having to move the entire watch around on your wrist to get a good look at it. I have developed a dislike for watches that display the time in a small window but this one is very easy to see.

I like Casio watches in general because or their ruggedness. They are almost like the old Timex commercials with John Cameron Swayze who ended the commercial by saying "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking."

Hunting watch Review

Review by Whitetail Hunter, 2010-05-07

Great product, it has the sunrise and sunset times on it. you just have to put in your GMT and your lat. and lon. atuides. I have used it here is south carolina and hawaii. just put in where you what to know the sun rise and set times and you are set. also has a alarm that you can set to vibrate. and one of the more important features for huntters is it give the 4 main feeding times each day and rates them on a 3 star system. the watch also has a Moon phase, that lets you know how old the moon is each month (day wise) and puts a diagram up so you can tell if it is a half, quarter, or new moon. very helpful for people you hunt moon phases. This watch wasn't a nessicity, but now that i have it i have used it a good bit. Sorry about the spelling, hope this review helps.

marriage saver

Review by Marshall M. Joffe, 2010-05-03

I bought this watch for the vibrating pulse alarm feature; I often need to get up before my wife. It works well; at the time it is set for, it gives ten vibrating pulses but makes no noise. It almost always awakens me, and has yet to awaken my wife. The watch has a number of other features which make it a bit complex to use. Overall, I have been very happy with this watch and recommend it highly as a silent alarm.
